I've had a camera in my hand since I was a kid and began as a visual artist, a painter, which continues to inform my eye.
Jenna Stern Photography began in 2004 in Brooklyn, NY to provide quality portraiture to performers, parents and professionals. Lifestyle and Portraiture has since expanded to include Interiors, Branding and Events.
Our session will be a mix of posed and spontaneous moments captured to best reflect you and your family, business or event. I make use of natural and/or studio light and have a mobile studio that can make your home our location (best for the little ones).

#PorchProject2020
In the Spring of 2020, during the pandemic, I began a personal project, #PorchProject2020. Our local food banks were depleted so I proposed a documentary style Family Portrait, in exchange for a donation to Bridgeport Rescue Mission. The community responded and in just four weeks I photographed 158 families and was able to raise almost $18,000. The project earned the cover of Fairfield Magazine‘s July/August issue, and was the focus of an episode of ZEISS Conversations for YouTube Live on the Zeiss Lenses Americas channel.
