In April of 2020 as we all started dealing with our new lives quarantined at home, I began photographing my community in what was to become “Porch Project 2020”. This project was a documentary style family portrait that in lieu of payment, I requested that they donate to one of two local food banks. The response was incredible and every day I received more and more requests to participate. In just four weeks I photographed 158 families and was able to raise almost $18,000 to help struggling neighbors through our local food banks.

The project earned the cover of Fairfield Magazine‘s July/August 2020 issue.
