Greenfield Hill Congregational Church

300th Anniversary Renovation Project

GHCC Celebrates 300!

Long-Term Projects and Documenting the Historical Restoration of Greenfield Hill Congregational Church

Fairfield, CT 2024

The 300th Anniversary Building Committee Chair, Wendy Simon, reached out to me in January of 2024, and asked if I would document the historic restoration and renovation of Greenfield Hill Congregational Church. Ten months, five delivered Galleries and thousands of images later, I can say that this year has been a wonderful experience with all parties involved. I have felt completely supported as their photographer in documenting this historic renovation that included the interiors of both the Sanctuary, and the Youth Barn, as well as exteriors of the Youth Barn.

I want to thank the church, Rev. Drs. David and Alida, the design team of Michael Smith (Michael Smith Architects), Chris Shea (Domus Constructors) and Dawn Lauf (JC Designs & Vintage Finds), and especially Wendy for her trust and support throughout the year. These communal spaces, thoughtfully restored, are a gift for the community now and a beautiful and inspiring legacy for the future.

Congratulations one and all.

Here are a selection of the Before/After images.
